Dear Faculty,
As we prepare for the Fall semester, We're reaching out from the Writing Lab to see how we might support you and your students with their writing, presentations, and other communication projects this semester
There are several ways we would be happy to work with you:
- Class visits: Our Writing Lab staff can visit your class for about 5–10 minutes to introduce our services and explain how students can work with our writing mentors.
- Support for specific assignments: If you would like to require or encourage students to visit the Writing Lab to review their writing as part of a particular assignment, please let us know. We would be happy to discuss how we can coordinate with you and support your students. *From our experience, requiring a Writing Lab visit tends to be more effective in encouraging students to use our services than simply recommending a visit.
- Support for individual students: If you have students who may need additional writing support, please feel free to refer them to us. We can arrange regular meetings with them throughout the semester and provide ongoing support based on their individual writing needs.
